Kindergarten....Here We Come!

So my little girl isn't so little anymore.  She is growing up right before our little eyes.  Each and everyday she is learning more and more and saying more and more "grown" up things.  Where has the time gone.

Last week we brought Miss Samantha to her first day of Kindergarten.  She was super excited to see all of her friends again as well as start her new adventure in school.  Believe it or not I was actually able to hold my cool and no one shed tears.

Off to school we go....with our Justin Bieber backpack and all

Samantha's exact words while taking this pic... "No more pictures after this one OK Mom"
(The child never calls me Mom....I must have been embarassing her)

Her first day of school was a half day so they were just getting familiar with the teacher, classroom, etc.  However the second day was a full day so she was there from 8:30am until 3:00pm.  It was a very exhausting 2nd day for her and when I asked her about it her words were "It was boring Mommy.....all we did was color and draw all day"  (Two of her least most favorite things to do).  When asked what boring was she goes "Mommy I don't know...it was just boring".  You got to love the kid :).

Thanks For Stopping By...
Until Next Time....

Holiday Photo Session

This has become an annual event - getting pictures of the grandparents with their grandchildren for their  Christmas Cards.  This year's photo taking adventure was quite interesting...we ventured outside all 6 of us in the semi-cold weather and headed over to the "Duck Pond".  With us was a cranky 4 year old, a 3 year old and an 8 month old...very hard to keep everyone's attention all at the sametime...not to mention keeping the Grandparents in check too :)

Here is a preview for everyone to enjoy....

It was time for some attitude :)

I love this picture....nobody was paying attention to me and doing there own thing.

Shonk/Cooper Photoshoot - From the perspective of a 4 year old....

My 4 year old daughter tagged along to this past weekends photo shoot since her Daddy had worked the night before and needed some sleep.  I brought along my small point and shoot camera with me so that she could be my assistant and take pictures from behind the scenes.  She was also in charge of trying to make the girls giggle and smile.  Here are some of the pictures she took....my future photographer...

(she loves taking pictures of herself - sometimes she comes out looking funny like this)

This is where Clara wasn't cooperating and was more interested in her feet
then looking at the camera - everyone was trying to make her look up

Very creative with the angle :)

A Day In The Life of Grandma...

Grandma will soon have her hands full....with a 4 year old girl with a mind of her own, a 3 year old girl who follows what the 4 year old is doing and then a 3 month old boy (none-the-less).

After Samantha's Summer Camp program one day we stopped by Grandma's and hung out for a while.  The girls love playing with Kellen - boy he has no idea what he is getting into.  They were in his face any chance they could get and would try to fight over him.

The First "Good" Cousins Group Picture

Well I wouldn't say it is a perfect group picture....I was dealing with an almost 4 year old who won't sit still for anything, a 3 year old who wants to follow and copy whatever the 4 year old is doing and then a 3 month old who just wanted to play by himself under his play gym but the two older children wouldn't let him.  The pictures are priceless though and I wouldn't have had it any other way - what a great memory.

Who do you think is enjoying the play gym more - the baby or the two children?

Kamryn (3), Kellen (3 months), Samantha (almost 4)

Kellen had enough but and was done but the girls kept being loud and silly

Poor Kellen - he wasn't a happy camper

Meet The Papasso Family

This past Saturday I had the joy of meeting The Papasso Family.
We couldn't have asked for better weather for our outdoor photoshoot.
