Happy {belated} 4th of July

Well things have definitely been crazy around here.  We are finally (I think) adjusting nicely to having a new baby in the house again.  Samantha is an awesome big sister and loves her baby sister. She is always giving hugs and kisses.

 

 

Here are the girls in there 4th of July outfits.

These are also going to count for Abigail's 4 month photo shoot.

(it is too exhausting these days dragging out all the stuff needed and the kids usually don't cooperate)

Oh and let's not forget that we took the 4 month old and almost 6 year old on a camping trip.

Surprisingly we all survived and the baby did a great job.

 

 

I am going to try and update this more often - "try" being the key word.

I have gone back to work full time and am trying to juggle working and being a Mom of two.  I keep telling myself it will all eventually fall into place....maybe when the girls are in there 20's :).

Abigail Rose {3 months}

I can....

     * hold my head up good for the most part

Abigail Rose {2 months old}

So......the other day my Mom took me on a shopping trip - I needed to get out of the house and do something fun so my Mom decided we should go to Hobby Lobby and check out what they had.  After checking out there scrapbook area we walked the rest of the store.  While walking around we came across the area where you can get headbands and big flowers to go on them.  I decided to get something for baby Abigail.  I chose a dark pink headband with a pink/zebra print flower.  After that we kept seeing things that would coordinate or go with the headband and flower - a matching tutu, leggings, tights, pants and onesies, iron on letters and numbers, etc.  I made the mistake of saying to Mom that we could get stuff to coordinate with the headband and do her 2 month pictures.  Well if you know Pat Rex...once she gets a theme in her head she runs with it and usually it is not on the conservative side - what turned from an original $6 purchase turned into a $25-$30 purchase.  We ended up getting the headband/flower, a pink onesie, zebra pants, 4 fake flowers and a chalkboard.  You got to love Pat Rex - but heck we had lots of fun picking the stuff out and taking the pictures.

Here outfit was a tad to big on her but she looked absolutely adorable in it.

Abigail was very good during the photo shoot....we had to stop once so she could eat and then in between some of the pictures towards the end we had to plug her up with the binky and then remove it and quickly take some pictures and then plug her up again.  Between my Mom and I we probably have over 150 pictures just from the half hours impromptu session...

Spring is finally here...

What fun can be had with a $3.99 bubble maker from Target.....
Samantha and I spent some Mommy/Samantha time together outside playing with Bubbles.  We had lots of fun running around the backyard.  The little things in life that make kids happy....

 

This little wand let out lots and lots and lots of bubbles....Samantha loved it.

Abigail Rose {5.5 weeks old}

The little munchkins favorite position...

 

 

Abigail was just hanging out on her blanket on the floor and kept putting her hands up by her head.  This is her most favorite position both when she is awake and when she is asleep.

Caught On Camera

Over the past couple of days we have been getting small smiles here and there from Miss Abigail.  They happen mostly in the morning when her big sister is in her face making noises, etc.  This morning I grabbed my camera in hopes of catching a smile from her and we actually got it.

.

 

Its not the best picture but it was all I could do while holding the camera and trying to make her smile.  I will take it though.

 

I just love watching her go through all the little milestones.

Meet Abigail Rose {3 weeks old}

Abigail Rose arrived on March 2nd, 2013 at 9:11am weighing 7 lbs 11 ozs and 19.5 inches long.

Here she is at 3 weeks old....

We had a small photoshoot one morning with Grandma....

 

 

 

More pictures coming soon...there just never seems to be enough time in the day anymore.  I guess this is what life with 2 kids is going to be like from now on.
