Balloons...Balloons....And More Balloons....

Tonight we headed over to a field by my grandfather's house in Branchburg to see if we could catch a glimpse of some of the hot air balloons going up in the air from the Balloon Festival.  We were very lucky and saw over 30 balloons.  They weren't as close as we would have liked but hey we can't really control how the wind blows.

We also had the pleasure of seeing some deer eating grass behind us.

A Look At Our New Friend....

For whatever reason this summer we have had a lot of rabbits around the neighborhood.  One Mommy Rabbit decided to have her babies smack in the middle of our backyard....even after she has been chased away daily by Oscar (our 55lb Boxer).  Guess she isn't that smart...but so far we have been able to keep the dog away from the nest.  Samantha is very excited that they are back there and every day or so we go and check on "her bunnies" as she calls them.  They are getting pretty big now and from what we can see there are probably only 3 of them.

A Girl and Her Dog...

Samantha loves her baby boy Oscar and always wants to give him hugs and kisses but he doesn't always cooperate.  She was able to snag a hug or two from him the other day and I just happened to have my camera. 

4th of July Sunset

While waiting for the fireworks to go off last night we were able to see the absolutely gorgeous sunset.  The pictures don't even come close to doing justice to the sunset.
